Brent Strohmeyer Memorial Foundation Scholarship

Do you love cars, car shows and cruise-ins? Here is a scholarship for you. 

The Brent Strohmeyer Memorial Scholarship is in honor of Brent Strohmeyer who died at the age of 20 in an auto accident.  Any senior with a GPA of 2.5 or greater who has an interest in automobiles as a hobby or career and lives in Polk, Linn or Marion county (or had senior portraits taken by Russ at Stro's Photography) is eligible to apply. 

Scholarship in the amount of $400 will be given based on financial need and automotive interest.  Applications are due April 15th.

West Valley Hospital Foundation Scholarship

West Valley Hospital Foundation scholarship applications for students interested in medically-related fields of study will be available beginning February 1, 2016.  Applications must be received in the Foundation office no later than March 25, 2016.

Applicants must be a resident of Polk County or an employee or family member of an employee at Wet Valley Hospital, and must have applied to a college in their field of healthcare study before applying for this scholarship.

Buick Achievers Scholarship

There are 50 scholarships of up to $100,000 each ($25,000/year for four years) for high school seniors and current undergraduate college students who plan to attend a four-year university in 2016-2017, have an interest in the automotive industry, and plan to major in:

Engineering or
Technology or
Design

West Salem Rotary Scholarship

Seniors who live in the 97304 zip code area are invited to apply for a $2,000 college scholarship through the West Salem Rotary.  The application deadline is February 26, but students are encouraged to apply early.  To apply, complete this two-page application and mail to the address indicated:

Marion-Polk Medical Society Scholarships
