Affordable International Summer Travel Opportunities

I'm excited to announce that we have added a new Enrichment Opportunity for students, alumni, parents, and staff who want to learn about other cultures by participating in educational International Travel together.  We are taking our first group of students this summer to London, Paris, Florence, and Rome, and we are thrilled that we will start doing these trips on a yearly basis beginning in 2016.

In order to make these opportunities affordable, there is a monthly payment plan available, and we are planning these trips years in advance so that families can plan ahead if they are interested in participating.  Here is the list of upcoming trips and the approximate monthly payment amount if you sign up before June 13th:

*Ireland (11 days in Dublin, Galway, Kilarney, Cork) in Summer of 2016 - $160/month

*Beijing and Great Wall of China (8 days) in Summer of 2017 - $80/month

*Turkey and Greece (Crete, Santorini, and Athens) in Summer of 2018 - ($80/month)

If you want more information or an application to go on one of these trips, please contact me before June 13th.  Also, if you would like to preview the tours, you can look at them on the EF Tours website:

Drive a Dozer and Support Local Charities

Dozer Days are at the Clark County Fairgrounds this Saturday and Sunday from 11-4.  If you have ever wanted to try driving heavy construction equipment, here's your chance!  KIDS of all ages can hop in the driver's seat and actually drive big yellow dozers, dump trucks and other heavy equipment with a professional operator at their side. Not only is it a dream come true for kids (and fun for the whole family), the event also benefits many local, children's charities.

This event is also looking for volunteers, and it is held every year on the third weekend in May in case you want to plan ahead and get on the volunteer list for next year's event.
