West Salem Business Association Scholarship

SENIORS who are residents of West Salem (97304 zip code) and who plan to attend a college in Oregon next year, are invited to apply for the West Salem Business Association Scholarship.  Applications are rated on:

*Future Plans and Goals
*Community Involvement
*Financial Need/Special Circumstances
*Work Experience/School Activities
*Financial Responsibility
*Grades (minimum 2.75 GPA)
*Neatness and Completeness of the Application

College Prep Night for Juniors and their Parents

All Juniors and their parents are invited to attend the College Prep Night on Tuesday, May 14^th at 7:00 p.m.  in the WMS Academic Center.  This night will give you ESSENTIAL information about what to do this summer to be on track for college applications, scholarships, and admissions testing.  Please RSVP before noon on Monday, May 13, so I know how many handouts to make.  Thanks! 

JUNIORS-sign up for the June 1 SAT by tomorrow (May 2)!!!

JUNIORS - make sure you have signed up for the June 1 SAT before 9 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, May 2).   It is VERY important that you take the SAT this spring so that you can be prepared to submit your early college applications in the fall.  Also, taking the SAT this spring will give you all summer to practice if you need to improve your score to meet your college admissions/scholarship goals.

I know some of you are taking the SAT this Saturday, May 4th, so please know I will be in prayer for you to have a clear mind and do your very best.  Remember to take pencils, approved calculator, and acceptable identification with you.
