Making the Most of your Summer

I hope you are all enjoying your summer break so far.  As you spend extra time with your family and friends this summer, I would also encourage you to look for opportunities to:
  •  Try something new...preferably something outside of your "comfort zone"
  • Find something you can do to contribute to your local community...serving others
  • Expand your leadership skills by "starting something" or "organizing something"
  • Read, read, read...this is one of the BEST ways to improve your SAT scores
  • Spend some time alone...with just you and God...ask God to guide you in your future plans
  • Go over the college prep checklist and make sure you're on track
  • Study for your SAT if you're going to be a Junior or Senior next year
  • Get a job or do some regular volunteer work...practice good work ethics
  • Travel or study another language/culture
See you in September! :)
