Criminal Justice Careers Day

Buick Achievers Scholarship

Seniors (and current undergraduates) who plan to study engineering, tech, design, or business with an interest in the automotive industry, this scholarship is for YOU!  The deadline is coming up quickly (February 28 at 2 p.m. PST), so don't hesitate to check it out at:  www.buickachievers.com

Chemeketa Scholars Program

If you are a senior, have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA, and plan to attend Chemeketa for your first 2 years of college, remember that there is only a ONE WEEK window of opportunity to apply for the Chemeketa Scholars Program (full tuition scholarship).  For more information, go to:

Plan ahead because all this needs to be done before the deadline:

• Apply for fall 2014 admission to Chemeketa
• Take the COMPASS placement test
• Print and complete the Chemeketa Scholars application
• Obtain a copy of their unofficial high school transcript (home-schooled students need SAT/ACT scores)

Submit the Chemeketa Scholars application, high school transcript (or scores for home-schooled students), and placement test scores between March 3 and 7, 2014.

Marion-Polk Medical Society Scholarship

SENIORS who are considering Pre-Med or Nursing for a college major next year, consider applying for the Marion-Polk Medical Society Scholarship.  Applicants must have a 3.0 or better GPA and submit application no later than March 20, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.  For more information, go to:

West Valley Hospital Foundation Scholarship

SENIORS who plan to go into a medically-related field of study in college, consider applying for the West Valley Hospital Foundation Scholarship.  In order to be eligible, you must

1) be a resident of Polk County OR a family member of a West Valley Hospital employee
2) have applied to college in a healthcare related major

The deadline to apply is March 28, 2014 (they need to RECEIVE it by this date at the latest)
