George Fox is Oregon's nationally recognized Christian university, providing students with personal attention, global opportunities to learn and serve, and a supportive community that encourages academic rigor and spiritual growth. George Fox offers more than 40 different majors and minors, and consistently ranks as one of the top Christian universities on the West Coast. Their promise to all students is that they will be known – personally, academically and spiritually.

This fall, George Fox welcomes back Bruin football following its 45-year absence from the university. There are signs of football's return all around the Newberg campus, particularly with their new football field, stadium and athletic buildings. The first game proved to be an exciting event, bringing together over 3500 fans, including students, alumni and the Newberg community!

This year George Fox also welcome the first cohort for the William Penn Honors Program, an alternative liberal arts program for undergraduate students. Modeled on the Socratic style, the program is designed to hone students’ critical thinking skills by exposing them to classical texts and using classroom discussion as the primary mode of instruction. The courses are built around great books that have had a significant influence in Western civilization.
