I have been receiving a lot of scholarship announcements, so I thought I'd put them all in one blog instead of doing them all separately this time.  Here are the ones with deadlines coming up soon:

Free Speech Essay Contest ($10,000) - Deadline is Nov. 25
High school JUNIORS and SENIORS can apply

Boston University Trustee Scholarship (four year, full tuition scholarship) - Deadline is Dec. 1
SENIORS who plan to attend Boston University

Villanova University Presidential Scholarship (full tuition, room, board) - deadline is Dec. 1
For high school SENIORS with rigorous curriculum and high GPA/SAT

Burger King Scholars Foundation Scholarship - apply between Nov. 15 and Jan. 10
For high school SENIORS

Nellie Thomson-Dorothy Patch Scholarship - deadline is Dec. 17
For SENIORS of color (including Native Americans) who live or go to school in Salem/Keizer area; there is no minimum GPA to apply.  (use scholarship application below to apply)
